What is a starting price ?

Answer:

Auctioneers must specify a starting price for their auctions or sales.

The starting price may be lower than or equal to the reserve price in an auction, and it guides bidders to make bids in the same ballpark as the reserve price.

Bidders can't make bids below the starting price - Motovit will only submit bids and offers above the starting price for auctioneer review.

In an auction, a bid that's equal to or more than the starting price may still be rejected at the auctioneer's discretion. If a bidder's bid is rejected, the bidder will need make a higher bid to go into the running to win the auction.
