Bidder Essentials

Answer:

Looking to buy a vehicle ? You've come to the right place. There are just a few things you should know before you start browsing Motovit listings.

Also, see How the Auction Works for detailed information on how to use Motovit.

You can buy vehicles at Motovit in two ways: at auction or simple sale(ad placed).

Make sure you know the differences between these options, and understand your obligations as a bidder in the auctions you participate in.

Only bid if you want to buy

If you make a bid that's more than the reserve price on a vehicle at auction, and the auctioneer accepts your bid, you're legally obliged to pay up if you win the auction.

You can't retract a bid once it's been accepted. So don't participate in Motovit auctions if you don't want to buy.

Bidder, beware!

It's your responsibility to apply due diligence in researching the details of any vehicle you want to buy. Motovit automatically verifies some details of listed vehicles, but you'll want to do your own thorough research before you make a bid.

Motovit doesn't handle the exchange of the vehicle with the money.

Motovit is a bit like a matchmaking site for vehicle buyers and sellers: we put you together, and help you work out if you want what the other party has to offer. But our involvement ends when the auction is completed: the rest is up to you.

Unfortunately, we're unable to help with the exchange of money or vehicle between buyers and sellers. We do automatically verify information on each vehicle.
